Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Machine Operator to ensure safe and efficient production of molded OES products per customer specs. The role involves pre-shift reviews, operating machinery, trimming excess material, and preparing finished goods for shipping.

Responsibilities include quality inspections, reporting issues to supervision, maintaining a clean workstation, and complying with safety procedures to prevent production loss.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally or in writing.
• Ability to display safety orientation.
• This job involves physical demands like walking, climbing stairs/ladders, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production specifications for each SKU scheduled for production.
• Removes product from machine to maintain schedule.
• Trims, files or cuts excess flash from product per specs.
• Inspects pieces to meet quality standards and customer specs.
• Informs supervisor of quality issues or damage to limit production loss.
• Installs or assembles components per order specifications.
• Maintains awareness of surroundings and communicates safety concerns.
• Labels, packages, and stacks finished product for shipping.
• Adheres to safety procedures and reports hazards.
• Keeps workstation clean and organized for safety.
