Collins Aerospace in Bella Vista, AR is seeking a Manufacturing Lead to oversee setup and operation of precision machining, calibration, and related tasks on 2nd shift. You will mentor team members and ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires HS diploma or equivalent and strong skills in machining, blueprints, and continuous improvement. On-site position with competitive benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS Diploma or equivalent or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Demonstrated skill in executing goals to prioritize and accomplish daily tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to train, mentor, and help others; respected for hard work and ethics.
• Moderate proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Awareness of production processes, quality control, and distribution techniques.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and processes.
• Experience working on multiple complex programs in primary discipline.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision machining centers according to standard work.
• Adjust feed, spindle speeds, tools and cutters as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Read and apply quality testing techniques and inspect with gauges.
• Document manufacturing processes and labor transactions accurately.
• Support EHS, Quality and CI rules and guidelines.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and safety activities.
• Work extended shifts/overtime as required; some holidays.
• Attend training during first 2-3 months (days shift) but schedule indicates 2nd shift.
