Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Carroll, IA is seeking a Manufacturing Lead to oversee hands-on production tasks, calibration, welding and machining while mentoring team members on the shop floor.

The role requires deep manufacturing knowledge, readiness to act as SME (level III), and collaboration with support staff to maintain on-time delivery, cost control and quality across programs. External candidates may qualify for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing experience including calibration, welding, and machining.
• Furnace operator experience preferred.
• Ability to mentor and train employees on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead as SME on primary disciplines and mentor staff.
• Serve as main contact for OJT training and audits.
• Collaborate to achieve on-time delivery, cost and quality goals.
