Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Carroll, IA seeks a lead manufacturing professional to perform key fabrication and assembly tasks. You will interpret drawings, machine setups, and quality checks while mentoring team members and driving on-time delivery and cost quality improvements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Certification in core discipline with 4–5 months of employment.
• Certification on multiple programs labeled as moderate to difficult in degree of complexity.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work orders to guide fabrication.
• Assemble and fabricate metal parts using mechanical equipment.
• Perform machining setups and adjust tooling.
• Conduct inspections and maintain quality records.
• Support OJT training and mentor new employees.
• Aim for on-time delivery and cost quality improvements.
