Kettle Cuisine is seeking a Machine Operator Filling in Everett, WA to support our fast-paced production line with focus on quality and safety. You will operate filling machines, monitor performance, and document results to help drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Performs machine operations including setup, cleanup, quality checks, and waste control.
• Trains peers and temporary workers on processes and machine operation within the department.
• Follows department escalation to ensure major incidents are addressed promptly.
• Ensures downtime is logged in the HMI with clear explanations of issues.
• Organizes and maintains tools and scales used in the filling operation.
• Supports other departments as directed and helps meet filling metrics.

Effectively delivers residual to manualline

Make sure down time is gettingentered intothe HMI with clear explanations of whathappened

Performs data sheet checks and ensures completion of datasheet

Perform tasks to support other departments whendirected

Works with team towards meeting Filling metrics to drive goals and sustainability of the teams, this to be done through resource alignment, planning ahead for changeovers, looking ahead to optimize the schedule, empowering the teams to drive communication and tight tracking of loss through each processorder

Other duties as assigned by Team leader or Business Unit Leader

Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previouswork experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry

Must be available to work overtime andweekends

Technical Experience:

Ability to learn system logic andoperateHMI/control panels and fine tune equipment for minor and majoradjustments

Pay Range for Machine Operator Filling

The Machine Operator Filling base pay range $20.77 - $22.77/hourly. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Everett, WA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Machine Operator Filling position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
