Kettle Cuisine in Everett, WA is seeking a Packaging Lead (2nd Shift) to supervise line operators and ensure on-time production, quality, and safety. The role involves coaching, training new staff, and coordinating with the supervisor to meet daily production schedules in a fast-paced food production environment.
Responsibilities include maintaining GMP, leading Lean improvements, and recording production data while ensuring team motivation and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Summary
Performsa wide variety of duties toassistinmaintainingdepartment efficiencies at maximum output levels.Workswith supervisor and supportsall assignedteam membersand equipment requirements during respectiveshift.While performing the duties listed below, the lead isrequiredto spend 85% of time on the floor.Line leaders guide the workflow and productivity of the line operators to ensure that the operators have everythingrequiredto meetthe daily customer orderproduction requirements.Line leaders have the responsibility for improving thelineproductivity and efficiency by creating processes that focus on quality and minimizing waste.The role involves training new operators and holding the operators accountable to company standards.

Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years of manufacturing experience and lead/supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous work experience in a fast-facedenvironment, preferably in the food industry
Computer skills – basic knowledge of computer programs and ability to learn inventory control program
Prior training experience
Demonstrated leadership skills

The Packaging Lead (2nd Shift) base pay range25.00 - 26.00/hourly.The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Everett, WA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time.In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.The Packaging Lead (2nd Shift) position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
