Job summary

Kettle Cuisine is seeking a Bulk Filling Machine Operator for our Lynn, MA facility to keep production lines running smoothly and safely. You will operate filling equipment, monitor quality, and work with teammates to meet daily targets in a fast-paced environment.

You must be able to lift 50 lbs, follow GMP/HACCP protocols, and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This role offers a base pay of $20 per hour with a target bonus of 5% and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred in food industry.
• Experience with perishable items and temperature-controlled settings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the bulk filling machine and follow recipe/work orders.
• Monitor output to ensure products meet specs and quality standards.
• Adhere to GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, and safety rules.
• Maintain a clean, organized production area and report issues to supervision.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members about downtime or changes.
• Assist with inventory of materials (cups, film, etc.) and support maintenance as needed.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

To ensure continuous and efficient operation of the production line to meet customer requirements in accordance with Safety, Sanitation, Quality, Quantity and Cost. (SSQQC)

Adhere to safe working practices at all times

Follow the HACPP and make sure all rules are followed to the letter

Operate the machine base on recipe, and orders following paper work

Check and make sure that the machine is functioning properly otherwise report to supervisor or Maintenance

Ensure that the correct cup is used for each costumers, fresh frozen and the correct size etc.

Perform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them to your supervisor

Ensure finished product conforms to specifications

Manufacture quality products efficiently within time and quantity parameters

Follow the company GMP’s

Ensure clean and tidy production area at all times

Report Downtime to maintenance in a timely manner

Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes (low yields, etc.)

Monitor and action all waste

Manage inventory of material like cups film etc.

Take instructions from supervisors.

Any other tasks deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by management

Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time

Ability to work weekends as requested per the manager/supervisor

Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment

Proven track record in safe working practices

Manufacturing experience preferred (preferably in the food industry)

Experience working in temperature controlled settings

Experience with perishable items

Experience working with filling machinery 2 years

Experience preferred if not we will do training

Able to interact and communicate with the supervisors and team members

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Passion for food and high quality

Pay Range for Bulk Filling Machine Operator

The Bulk Filling Machine Operator base pay range $20 USD/hourly. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Bulk Filling Machine Operator position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. Kettle Cuisine and all its legal entities comply with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.

This position is also eligible for a target bonus of 5%.
