Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of electronics experience.
  • Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and electronics components is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated insertion and/or pick and place equipment for PCB assemblies under supervision.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs and maintain records of produced products.
  • Develop and edit insertion/pick and place programs per ECO changes; read blueprints and schematics.
  • Follow safety procedures and work under written procedures; maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Where is the work: On-Site (5 days) What’s in it for you: Operate automated insertion equipment for printed circuit board assemblies. Perform routine maintenance and repairs.

What you will do: Run automated insertion and/or pick and place equipment for printed circuit board assemblies under direct supervision and written procedures. Maintain records for all manufactured product. Assist in development and implementation of insertion and/or pick and place procedures. Knowledge of leaded versus lead free assembly processes Perform preventative maintenance based on the machine manufacturer’s schedule. Assist in major machine maintenance and repairs. Develop auto insertion and/or pick and place machine programs and edit existing programs as required by ECO changes. Ability to read and work from blue prints, diagrams, schematics and other manufacturing documentation with direct supervision. Ability to float on floor where there is a work need. Follow safety procedures. Maintain clean and orderly work area. Train others as needed. Demonstrate willingness to follow safety procedures. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines. Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers. Ability to work regularly and dependably. Ability to function and thrive in a team environment. Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers. What you will bring: hool diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Basic communication and math skills generally associated with a high school education. Minimum of one to two years of experience in electronics field, preferred. Have a working knowledge of all necessary tools and equipment. Knowledge of electronics components (types and values), preferred. High energy level, quick learner, and highly flexible. Positive attitude.
