Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring for an on-site manufacturing role focused on PCB inspection, post-assembly tasks, and soldering operations. The role requires manufacturing experience, IPC-610 and J Standard certifications, and ability to work in a team while following safety and quality processes.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in Quality.
  • Knowledge of soldering tools including removal and part handling.
  • J Standard Certification or equivalent.
  • IPC 610 Certification.
  • Rework experience required.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work in a team and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform printed circuit board inspection, rework and assembly operations with various equipment.
  • Verify thru-hole and SMT circuitry.
  • Perform lead and lead-free soldering operations.
  • Identify parts and polarity on PCB.
  • Ensure quality and pass good products.
  • Read and follow manufacturing documentation with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
  • Follow written and oral instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers; support continuous improvement.

What's In It For You
  • Performs printed circuit board inspection, rework and assembly operations working with a variety of mechanical equipment
What You Will Do
  • Performs any post assembly, serializing, special component insertion.
  • Perform verification on thru-hole and SMT electronic circuitry.
  • Perform both lead and lead-free solder operations
  • Ability to identify parts and polarity on printed circuit boards
  • Ability to pass good quality products
  • Read and work from manufacturing documentation with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area.
  • Follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines.

What You Will Bring
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) required.
  • One (1) to (2) years in manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Two to three years’ experience in Quality.
  • Knowledge of soldering tools to include solder removal and part removal
  • Current J Standard Certification or equivalent.
  • Current IPC 610 Certification
  • Rework experience required
  • Basic commuter skills to include knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.
