Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a GNA Machine Operator 2 who will set up and operate the Big Red sealer, load packaging materials, and verify weights. The role supports continuous production and requires basic math, mechanical, and computer skills.

A high school diploma is required with 1 year of machine operation experience preferred. You will work with a small team, document scrap tickets, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while keeping equipment clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of machine operation experience preferred.
• Demonstrated basic math and mechanical skills; good computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Big Red sealer.
• Load and unload sealing equipment with product and packaging material.
• Load printer software on computer as needed.
• Verify weight with scale and ensure accuracy of measurements.
• Inspect product quality and address deviations.
• Keep equipment clean and perform basic maintenance as required.
• Complete scrap tickets and production sheets accurately.
• Follow safety rules and maintain production pace.

You’ll Be DISRUPTIVE Through These Duties And Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Big Red sealer
• May use computer to load printer software
• Set up and verify weigh scale
• Load/unload sealing equipment with product and packaging material
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
• Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
• Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment
• Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation
• Break down scrap packages
• Able to work effectively within small teams
• Accurately complete scrap tickets
• Accurately complete daily production sheet
• Accurately update hourly goal board
• Maintain production pace and standards
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
• Practice 5Ss
