Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Machine Operator 2 to support our production lines in the United States. You will set up and operate the Big Red sealer, load materials, monitor quality, and document scrap and daily production metrics.

You must have a HS diploma or equivalent, basic math and mechanical skills, and be able to follow written instructions. Teamwork and adherence to safety and 5S principles are essential.

Responsibilities

• The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for operating the Big Red sealer.
• Set up and operate Big Red sealer.
• May use computer to load printer software.
• Set up and verify weigh scale.
• Load/unload sealing equipment with product and packaging material.
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required.
• Inspect and verify product according to quality standards.
• Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment.
• Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation.
• Break down scrap packages.
• Able to work effectively within small teams.
• Accurately complete scrap tickets.
• Accurately complete daily production sheet.
• Accurately update hourly goal board.
• Maintain production pace and standards.
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• Practice 5Ss
