Milwaukee Tool is seeking a GNA Machine Operator 2 to set up and operate the Big Red sealer, load and unload materials, and verify production against quality standards. You will work closely with a Machine Technician to troubleshoot equipment and maintain output on the line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and about 1 year of machine operation experience, with solid basic math, mechanical, and computer skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Big Red sealer
• May use computer to load printer software
• Set up and verify weigh scale
• Load/unload sealing equipment with product and packaging material
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
• Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
• Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment
• Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operationBreak down scrap packages
• Able to work effectively within small teams
• Accurately complete scrap tickets
• Accurately complete daily production sheet
• Accurately update hourly goal board
• Maintain production pace and standards
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
• Practice 5Ss
