Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a GNA Machine Operator 2 to set up and operate the Big Red sealer, load printer software if needed, verify scales, and manage packaging loads. You’ll work with a Machine Technician to resolve equipment issues and ensure quality, accuracy, and safety on the line.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills, with a willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Big Red sealer
• May use computer to load printer software
• Set up and verify weigh scale
• Load/unload sealing equipment with product and packaging material
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
• Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
• Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment
• Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation
• Break down scrap packages
• Able to work effectively within small teams
• Accurately complete scrap tickets
• Accurately complete daily production sheet
• Accurately update hourly goal board
• Maintain production pace and standards
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
• Practice 5Ss
