Recco Products, a leader in precision micro-filter manufacturing, is seeking a Machine Operator in Wayland, MI. The role involves operating CNC lathes, mills, and manual lathes, adhering to AS9100 quality processes, and ensuring accurate production of machined components.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, following drawings, maintaining records, and communicating with the team to ensure timely completion while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet ITAR requirements and be a U.S. citizen or otherwise eligible.
• Vision 20/20 (with correction) required for the role.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
• Ability to operate shop resources with arms and hands.
• Must pass a 5-panel drug screen including marijuana.
• Attention to detail and focus under production conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, and 2nd operation manual lathes per drawings and AS9100 processes.
• Follow drawings/work orders to perform designated machining operations.
• Assist in setting up and adjusting equipment per safety and operational guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of machining activities (part numbers, quantities, methods).
• Communicate with supervisor and QC to address workflow issues and ensure timely task completion.
• Perform routine maintenance on department equipment and keep a clean, safe work area.
