Job summary

Moeller Aerospace in Harbor Springs, MI is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to manufacture precision aerospace components. You will operate CNC machines, monitor several units, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operator maintenance (TPM).
• Deburr and rework parts when necessary.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation using 5S.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

As a CNC Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in manufacturing precision aerospace components that meet exact customer specifications.

• Operating CNC machines to produce quality parts safely and efficiently
• Monitoring multiple machines and processes simultaneously
• Using precision measuring equipment including:
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Gauges
  • Optical Comparators
  • Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Recording production and quality data within electronic systems
• Performing routine operator maintenance (TPM)
• Deburring and reworking parts when necessary
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement
• Maintaining a clean, organized workstation using 5S principles
• Following all company safety and quality procedures
