Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Valley Cottage, NY. The role involves operating and setting up production machines, reading engineering drawings, and assisting with fabrication tasks. A strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience are valued.

You do not need experience on every machine listed. Location is Valley Cottage, NY with a Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or engineering drawings is a plus.
• Bridgeport/knee mill experience is beneficial but not required if you have related mechanical or machine experience.

Machine Operator – Temp-to-Hire

Adecco is currently seeking a reliable and motivatedMachine Operatorfor atemp-to-hire opportunity in Valley Cottage, NY.

This is a great opportunity for someone withmachine operation, metal fabrication, mechanical, or hands-on production experiencewho is looking for a long-term position with a growing company.

You do not need to have experience with every machine or responsibility listed below.

Position:Machine Operator
Location:Valley Cottage, NY
Pay:$19–$23/hour, based on experience
Schedule:Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Overtime:Potential OT available

What You'll Do

• Operate and set up various machines used in production and fabrication.
• Set up and operate a knee mill/Bridgeport machine.
• Read and work from engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Assist with welding, drilling, assembly, and fabrication projects.
• Create and use basic tools, fixtures, and jigs to help with production.
• Operate equipment such as presses, punches, and dies.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality and improve processes.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience inmachine operation, metal fabrication, manufacturing, production, or a related hands-on fieldpreferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
• Experience with a Bridgeport/knee mill is a plus, butnot required if you have related mechanical or machine experience.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable, hardworking, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
