Adecco is seeking an Entry-Level Machine Operator in Horseheads, NY. This role offers on-the-job training to support daily manufacturing and shipping goals, including assembly, testing, and material handling. No prior experience required, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will work the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM), lift up to 50 lbs, and contribute to a clean, organized 5S work environment while learning core production skills in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing and shipping goals through assembly and production tasks.
• Perform manual assembly using torque drivers and hardware to targets.
• Conduct functional testing of completed systems per procedures.
• Retrieve materials from flow racks and bin locations to support operations.
• Complete back-flush transactions to ensure accurate production logging.
• Assist with physical inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy.
• Maintain 5S workplace organization and cleanliness.
• Follow safety policies and use protective equipment as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily manufacturing and shipping goals through a variety of assembly and production tasks.

• Perform manual assembly of systems using torque drivers and hardware, adhering to production targets.

• Conduct functional testing of completed systems following standard work procedures.

• Retrieve materials from flow racks and bin locations to support assembly operations.

• Complete back-flush transactions in computer systems to ensure accurate production logging.

• Assist with physical inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy.

• Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness according to 5S standards.

• Follow safety and security policies, including the proper use of protective equipment and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience is not necessary; training and ongoing support are provided.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a focus on workplace safety.

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $17.60

• Shift Options (Monday–Friday):
