Caterpillar Inc. in Sanford, NC is hiring a Machine Loader to support fabrication operations, loading robots and machining centers, and keeping the area clean. The role offers a starting wage of $20.20 per hour plus an 8% shift premium and a comprehensive benefits package.

Typical duties include loading and positioning heavy components, assisting machinists or welders, following procedures and blueprints, and maintaining safety. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2nd shift.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Shift Starting Pay: $20.20

Position provides fabrication support activities including loading robots and/or machining centers as well as ensuring cleanliness of the area.

As a Machine Loader At Caterpillar, You Will

• Load/unload and position heavy fabrication metal components in holding fixtures using lifting devices
• Assist Machinists or Welders with certain processes
• Maintain Fabrications area in a clean and orderly condition
• Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings and blueprints

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with Overhead Hoists OR Overhead Cranes

Physical Requirements (with Or Without Reasonable Accommodation)

• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operation
• Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Material handling experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Machining experience or exposure
• Welding experience or exposure
