Job summary

Caterpillar Sanford is seeking an assembler to follow documented procedures and perform safe, defect-free assembly of parts. You will apply lean manufacturing concepts, use power tools and lifting devices, and cross-train across areas to meet cycle times.

The role requires at least 6 months of experience, ability to sit or stand for long periods, perform repetitive operations, and lift up to 35 lbs. We offer Day ONE benefits, a quarterly bonus, and paid training.

• Cross-train across work areas and ability to learn new work areas.

Shift Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:15 pm – 10:15 pm (Boone Trail)
• 2nd Shift Starting Pay: $19.44 hour (includes 8% shift premium)

As an Assembler at Caterpillar you will:

Basic Requirements:

• 6 months of previous work experience
• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
• Willing and able to lift to 35 lbs.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Prior experience with hand tools or power tools
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Heavy equipment machine assembly experience
• Previous work experience operating an electric hoist to lift more than 35 lbs.
• Proven track record of good attendance and work history.

Summary Pay Range:

$18.00 - $22.40
