Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring an Assembler for the Sanford location to build and assemble components per documented procedures. This role emphasizes lean manufacturing, safety, and quality, with training provided and a 2nd shift schedule.

Shift Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:15 pm – 10:15 pm (Boone Trail)
• 2nd Shift Starting Pay: $19.44 hour (includes 8% shift premium)

As an Assembler at Caterpillar you will:

• Follow documented procedures to perform safe anddefect-free assembly and adjustment of parts and components.

Basic Requirements:

• 6 months of previous work experience
• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
• Willing and able to lift to 35 lbs.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Prior experience with hand tools or power tools
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Heavy equipment machine assembly experience
• Previous work experience operating an electric hoist to lift more than 35 lbs.
• Proven track record of good attendance and work history.

Summary Pay Range:

$18.00 - $22.40
