Role Overview

Join Amcor as a Machine Assistant and play a key role in producing high‑quality products that protect what’s important. You will be part of a team that ensures safety and quality standards are met and contributes to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours; Monday – Thursday & every other Friday; Nights 7 pm – 7 am.

Compensation

• Pay: $19‑$21 per hour + $1.50 per hour night shift premium.
• Overtime: 1.5× pay for hours over 40 per week.
• 401(k): Dollar‑for‑dollar match up to 8%.

Job Description

• Assist on production lines that produce high‑quality products.
• Ensure jobs run in accordance with customer, manufacturing, and printing specifications.
• Maintain quality compliance of products by verifying they are free of defects.
• Work with operators to maximize machine efficiency, including minimizing job changeovers and downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area during shift and shift transitions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow customer specifications.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software.
• Required visual acuity to perform visual inspections and identify colors.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods (steel‑toed shoes required).
• Perform climbing, crouching, and reaching.
