Job summary

Oregon Episcopal School in Portland seeks a hands-on IT Mac OS Device and AV Support specialist to own the Mac fleet via Jamf Pro, manage device lifecycles, test deployments, and support faculty and students. You’ll also lead Audio/Visual setups for campus events and coordinate with facilities to ensure spaces are ready for presentations.

The role emphasizes a patient, low-ego service mindset, with responsibilities from help desk to inventory, documentation, and occasional on-site work.

Qualifications

• At least two years of prior experience in Help Desk, User Support, or Systems Administration.
• Must be able to work on campus daily; not remote.
• Strong customer-service mindset with ability to switch between technical tasks and user support.
• Experience with Apple devices and MDM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mac Administration & MDMS: Manage the Mac fleet lifecycle with Jamf Pro and test OS/software deployments.
• AV & Event Support: Lead campus event setups, troubleshoot AV equipment, coordinate with facilities.
• Help Desk & Community Support: Provide face-to-face help desk support and document procedures.
• Infrastructure Backup: Assist Systems Administrator with network/infrastructure tasks as needed.
