Job summary

SFE in Austin, TX is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to manage and maintain macOS-based EUC environments onsite. You will handle device provisioning, account management, and on-site support for staff, ensuring secure access and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include hardware/software troubleshooting, asset lifecycle tracking, inventory accuracy, and collaboration with IT teams on performance and security. On-call support may be required to cover after-hours needs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on macOS administration and EUC support experience.
• Asset and inventory management experience.
• Familiarity with AD/AAD and user provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for macOS and related applications.
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Mac devices (macOS, hardware, software).
• Handle desktop support activities including installation, upgrades, issue resolution.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and device policies.
• Perform asset management including procurement, tagging, tracking, lifecycle management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all IT assets.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes (device provisioning, access setup, recovery).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system performance, security, and compliance.
• Participate in after-hours/on-call support when required.
