Job summary

Texas Sports Academy is seeking an IT Operations Specialist in Austin to manage the full lifecycle of our MacBook Neo fleet. You will configure devices, manage inventory, ship units to campuses across Texas, and serve as the primary tech contact for student laptop issues.

This is an onsite three-month contract with potential extension based on performance. You will deploy devices with our standard software stack, enforce security settings, track serial numbers, and support students and staff

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience deploying and managing macOS devices at scale.
• Hands-on work including receiving shipments, lifting boxes, inventory, and outbound packaging.
• Strong customer service orientation with students/parents.
• Attention to detail with accurate record-keeping across inventory and shipments.
• Familiarity with AI tools used to streamline communications and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy MacBook Neo devices with required software and security settings.
• Manage inventory and track serial numbers across the Austin site.
• Pack and ship laptops to campuses across Texas; coordinate carrier pickups and track shipments.
• Process returns, wipe and reimage devices for redeployment when possible.
• Provide student technical support and escalate hardware repairs as needed.
