Job summary

Texas Sports Academy is seeking an IT Operations Specialist in Austin to manage the full lifecycle of our MacBook Neo fleet. You will configure devices, manage inventory, and ship units to campuses across Texas, while serving as the primary tech contact for student issues.

This is an on-site, three-month contract with potential extension based on performance. You will work with AI tools daily, ensure secure configurations, and maintain precise records of assets and shipments.

Qualifications

3+ years deploying and managing macOS devices at scale.
Comfort with hands-on operational duties and shipping logistics.
Strong customer service orientation for students and parents.
Attention to detail for inventory, shipments, and asset tracking.
Familiarity with AI tools to streamline communications and tasks.
US work authorization; Austin-based residence or commute capability.

Responsibilities

Configure and deploy MacBook Neo devices with standard software and security settings.
Manage inbound/outbound shipments and maintain accurate inventory records.
Package, ship, track, and resolve issues for deployments across Texas campuses.
Process device returns and reimage for redeployment as needed.
Provide student technical support and escalate hardware repairs when required.
Maintain a complete lifecycle history and device tracking system.
