Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced M365 Support Engineer focused on Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint. This contract role handles platform-level issues in a multi-tenant environment and includes on-call responsibilities.

Remote work options are available with core business hours dominance and a 40-hour week cap. Ideal candidates will bring 5–10 years of M365 experience, PowerShell scripting, and automation know-how, plus strong governance and security awareness.

Qualifications

Target Profile: Eng or Sr Eng M365 / Power Platform Engineer.
Broad M365 platform expertise across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online.
Strong hands-on administration across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online.
Automation & scripting focus; solid PowerShell skills for bulk ops.
Power Platform capability; experience with Power Automate, Power Apps and enabling workflows.
Governance, compliance, and security awareness; familiarity with Purview, retention, eDiscovery, audit and data protection concepts.
Migration & transformation experience; tenant, SharePoint, or platform migrations and modernization.
Full-stack operational role across engineering, administration, and support/escalation (including on-call).
Product & collaboration mindset; exposure to Agile/product workflows across business + IT stakeholders.
Adaptability across the M365 ecosystem; breadth over perfection; growth into Viva and emerging platform capabilities.
