Nelnet is seeking a M365 Engineer to administer and govern SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure services in a remote, full-time role. Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
• Experience administering and governing SharePoint Online and related workloads.
• Experience with Viva, Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot Studio, Fabric, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting Azure services and governance for modern workplace solutions.
• Experience with Copilot for 365 readiness, adoption, governance, or enablement.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Graph API, automation tools, REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.
• Familiarity with security/compliance concepts (MFA, CA, DLP, retention, governance).
• Strong troubleshooting and independent work on complex incidents.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, Azure, and Copilot with governance and reliability focus.
• Support content collaboration, site architecture, permissions, and information governance across workloads.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify automation, reporting, and digital transformation opportunities.
• Support Fabric and Power BI administration for data integration and analytics within governance standards.
• Manage Azure services supporting Modern Workplace and governance outside of Entra ID admin.
• Support Copilot readiness, adoption, and end-user enablement and adoption processes.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Graph API, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.
• Collaborate with security/compliance teams to maintain secure, compliant environments and change management.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and training materials; mentor support staff.
• Monitor platform health, licensing, advisories, and roadmap changes; propose reliability improvements.
