Job summary
Nelnet is seeking a skilled M365 Engineer to administer and govern SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure services in a remote, full-time role. You will partner with business and technical teams to deliver secure, governed collaboration, automation, and analytics.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on M365 experience, strong scripting skills, and a track record of defining governance and adoption strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with SharePoint Online and related workloads.
- Experience with Viva, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Fabric, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Azure governance and app integrations.
- Familiarity with security concepts: MFA, Conditional Access, DLP.
- Strong troubleshooting and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Administer and govern SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, Azure, and Copilot.
- Support content collaboration, permissions, and information governance.
- Identify automation and low-code opportunities using Power Apps/Automate/BI.
- Support Fabric and Power BI administration for data analytics.
- Manage Azure services for Modern Workplace solutions.
- Support Copilot readiness, adoption, and communications.
- Develop runbooks, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Monitor platform health, licensing, and roadmap for improvements.
