Job summary

Capital Dynamics is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst for a fixed-term contract in New York. The role covers on-site support, Microsoft 365 administration, and end-user assistance across the global team, with a focus on secure operations, asset management, and runbook documentation.

You will ensure high service standards, manage user lifecycles, and collaborate with senior professionals across investment and operations in a fast-paced, professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, AI or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in technology/desktop support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with SharePoint configuration and permissions management is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in a client-first environment.
• Organised and self-directed with autonomy in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Microsoft 365 Administration – manage Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and integrations.
• Own configuration, permissions, and housekeeping across services.
• Provide end-user support to investment professionals and staff; maintain high service standards.
• Manage end-to-end user provisioning/deprovisioning for London staff; control access rights.
• Triage, diagnose, and resolve hardware/software issues across Windows and Mac.
• Maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, and permissions structures.
• Document resolutions and create runbooks for recurring processes.
