Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a strategic advisor to support mergers and acquisitions through insurance due diligence, risk evaluation, and seamless program integration across deal lifecycles.

You will advise clients, producers, and transaction teams on risk, coverage, and program alignment, contributing to successful post‑close strategies and ongoing risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of client service, or High School degree with 7 years of client service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; analytical abilities.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License; designations preferred.
• Experience with agency management systems such as Sagitta and ImageRight.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A transactions, reviewing policies, claims history, loss runs, and exposure data.
• Analyze insurance programs to identify risks, coverage gaps, and transaction-related exposures.
• Implement post-close insurance strategies including entity changes and tail/run-off coverage placement.
• Advise on complex commercial insurance programs, renewal strategy, and carrier negotiations.
• Collaborate with clients, producers, underwriters, legal counsel, and transaction advisers to deliver integrated risk solutions.
