Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a seasoned professional to lead due diligence for buy-side mergers and acquisitions in the property and casualty arena. You will evaluate policy portfolios, loss history, and exposure data, advising on risk, coverage and program alignment.

You will partner with clients, producers, underwriters, and legal advisors to implement post-close strategies and create integrated insurance solutions that support deal objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of client service.
• Insurance license and designations are preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A transactions, reviewing policies, claims history, loss runs and exposure data.
• Analyze insurance programs to identify risks, coverage gaps, and transaction-related exposures.
• Implement post-close insurance strategies including tail/run-off coverage placement and rider endorsements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on complex commercial programs, renewal strategy and carrier negotiations.
• Collaborate with clients, producers, underwriters, legal counsel and transaction advisors to align risk and insurance solutions with objectives.
• Be the primary client contact, delivering guidance on risk management and coverage structure.
