Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a strategic advisor to support mergers and acquisitions by leading insurance due diligence, evaluating risks, and ensuring seamless integration of insurance programs across deal lifecycles.

The role acts as a trusted advisor to clients, producers, and the transaction team, guiding risk coverage and program alignment during ongoing operations and transactional events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of client service.
• Team-oriented self-starter with ability to organize, prioritize, monitor deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Adaptability and resilience in shifting priorities.
• Collaborative mindset to work with teams across EPIC.
• Insurance technical skills to apply coverage knowledge in analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A including policies and loss data.
• Analyze programs to identify risks and coverage gaps.
• Implement post-close insurance strategies including tail/run-off coverage.
• Advise on complex commercial programs, renewal strategy and negotiations.
• Collaborate with clients, producers, underwriters, and legal counsel.
• Serve as primary contact for clients delivering risk management guidance.
