Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a senior professional to lead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A, evaluate transaction-related risks, and ensure seamless insurance integration across deal lifecycles.

You will advise clients, producers, and the deal team on risk, coverage, and program alignment, collaborating with underwriters, legal counsel, and transaction advisors to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant client service experience
• Experience leading insurance due diligence in buy-side M&A
• Strong knowledge of risk, coverage, and insurance program alignment
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with clients, producers, underwriters, and legal advisors
• Proficiency with MS Office and agency management systems such as Sagitta / ImageRight

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A transactions, reviewing policies, claims history, loss runs and exposure data
• Analyze insurance programs to identify risks, coverage gaps, contingent liabilities, and transaction-related exposures
• Implement post-close insurance strategies including tail/run-off coverage placement and endorsements
• Advise on renewal strategy, carrier negotiations, and ongoing risk management initiatives
• Collaborate with clients and transaction teams to deliver integrated risk and insurance solutions aligned with deal objectives
• Serve as the primary client contact for risk management and coverage structure guidance
