Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a seasoned professional to lead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A, evaluate transaction-related risks, and ensure seamless insurance integration throughout deal lifecycles.

The role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, producers, and the transaction team, guiding risk, coverage choices, and program alignment across ongoing operations and transactional events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in client service or a High School degree with 7 years in client service.
• Strong organization, multitasking, and deadline management in a fast-paced setting.
• Insurance licenses/designations preferred; proficiency with agency systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A transactions, including review of policies, claims history, loss runs, and exposure data
• Analyze insurance programs to identify risks, coverage deficiencies, contingent liabilities, and transaction-related exposures
• Implement post-close insurance strategies, including entity additions/removals, coverage restructuring, policy endorsements, and tail/run-off coverage placement
• Serve as a trusted advisor on complex commercial insurance programs, renewal strategy, carrier negotiations, and ongoing risk management initiatives
• Collaborate with clients, producers, underwriters, legal counsel, and transaction advisors to deliver integrated risk and insurance solutions aligned with transaction objectives
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering expert guidance on risk management, coverage structure, and compliance requirements
