Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a physical therapy professional to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, adjusting plans as needed. Lymphedema certification is preferred but not required. The role offers a sign-on bonus and a compensation range that varies by licensure (PTA, PT or OT).

The position is typically M-F, 8-hour days, and may include other shift options. Strong collaboration with staff and students is expected in a supportive rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and Physical Therapy licensure.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in at least one state; BLS certification.
• Experience in rehabilitation and stroke care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a plan of care with goals, outcomes, and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Perform examinations and determine PT diagnoses and treatment outcomes.
• Document per policy and coordinate with the care team.
• Supervise PTA and rehab techs; ensure safe patient handling.
• Communicate status, discharge needs, and equipment requirements clearly.
