Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the expected state.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Lymphedema certification preferred but not required.
• Continued education in acute stroke care as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages, adjusting plan of care as needed.
• Designs a plan of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, and colleagues using effective methods.
• Assesses clinical findings to determine physical therapy diagnoses.
• Performs examinations with reliable methods and documents findings.
• Supervises PTA and rehab technicians per regulatory guidelines.
• Communicates progress and discharge needs to medical team.
