Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, adjusting plans of care as needed and serving as a clinical resource for staff and students. Lymphedema certification is preferred but not required.

The compensation range will vary by licensure (PTA, PT, or OT) and location, with a possible sign-on bonus. The role is generally M-F, 8-hour days, treating lymphedema patients full time and open to other shift combinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (IDFPR) required or eligible.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to transfer patients safely with assistance.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Develops and modifies plan of care based on patient response and evidence.
• Performs examinations and documents findings per policy.
• Collaborates with care team and supervises PTA and rehab technicians.
