Motion Recruitment seeks a Scientist II to accelerate LVV and AAV generation platforms at our South San Francisco site. The contractor will drive autosamplers, high-throughput transfections, and parallel expression runs to boost throughput and yield for screening pipelines.

The role emphasizes DOE-driven upstream/downstream development, QC analytics, and rigorous data management with SOP documentation and tech transfer support.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with LVV and AAV production is essential.
• Strong data analysis, presentation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Automate LVV and AAV workflows with high-throughput systems.
• Develop upstream LVV processes from seed to harvest with DOE.
• Establish downstream LVV purification and filtration strategies.
• Perform LVV and AAV analytics for QC and process understanding.
• Maintain organized virus inventory and write SOPs and reports.
