IT Engagements, Inc. seeks a Scientist II contractor in South San Francisco onsite to accelerate LVV and AAV generation platforms, increasing throughput and yield for rapid screening and pipeline studies.

The role involves automating workflows, building scalable upstream and downstream processes, applying DOE, and delivering SOPs and data reports to support a cutting-edge viral vector program.

Competenze

• MS/PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Virology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Genetics, or related field with 3+ years lab experience.
• Experience with LVV/AAV production and scale-up preferred.
• Proficient in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Experience with DOE methodologies.
• BSL-2 facility management experience.

Mansioni

• Automate LVV and AAV workflows using high-throughput liquid handling systems.
• Set up parallel mini-scale expression runs on Ambr platforms.
• Troubleshoot liquid handling, pipetting, and plasticware.
• Develop upstream LVV production and downstream purification processes.
• Apply DOE to optimize transfection conditions and harvest timing.
• Conduct LVV and AAV QC analytics and data management.
• Author SOPs and technical reports; present findings.
• Maintain a virus inventory with rigorous data integrity.
