Tailored Management in South San Francisco, CA seeks a Scientist II to develop LVV and AAV production platforms. You will optimize workflows, perform cell culture and transfection, and drive DOE-based improvements to yield, throughput, and quality.

The role involves downstream purification, viral vector characterization, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to advance research programs.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in life sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of lab or industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with ex vivo CAR-T cell engineering using lentiviral vectors.
• Proficient in mammalian cell culture, transfection, and molecular biology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize high-throughput LVV and AAV production workflows.
• Perform mammalian cell culture, transfection, and viral vector production.
• Apply DOE to improve yield, throughput, and consistency.
• Develop downstream purification including filtration, TFF, and chromatography.
• Characterize viral vectors and perform quality control assays.
• Analyze data, maintain records/inventory, and prepare SOPs/reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot processes.
