Job summary

Wesley Woods is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide skilled nursing care for residents in a dedicated facility setting. You will coordinate with nursing staff, administer medications, and follow physician orders while maintaining detailed charting and adherence to care plans.

Responsibilities include guiding Nurse Aides, performing treatments, and ensuring safety and infection control in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN in good standing with the Texas board.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to Utilise LVN scope of practice as articulated by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Organize work flow, respond to emergencies and note detail.

Responsibilities

• Give direction to Nurse Aides for appropriate care of residents and assist nurse aides where necessary.
• Properly administer resident medication.
• Implement resident care plans in compliance with Company and federal guidelines, and Physician's Orders.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living per the care plan.
• Perform treatments and transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Maintain timely documentation of residents' charts and participate in shift reports.
