Wesley Woods in Texas is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our care team. The role emphasizes accurate assessment, documentation, and compassionate care for elderly residents, with duties including medication administration and implementing resident care plans per physician orders.

The LVN will collaborate with the Director of Nursing, maintain infection control standards, and guide nurse aides to deliver safe, high-quality resident care in a dynamic facility environment.

Formación

• Licensed /Vocational Nurse in good standing.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to utilize LVN scope of practice as per Texas Board of Nursing.
• Organize work flow and respond to emergencies.
• Care for elderly and handicapped people.
• Comply with Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Provide direction to Nurse Aides and assist where needed.
• Administer resident medications.
• Implement resident care plans per Physician's Orders.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living as per care plan.
• Perform treatments.
• Transcribe physician orders timely and accurately.
• Document residents' charts timely.
