Job summary

Equinox in New York seeks a Membership Sales Advisor who excels in health, fitness, and sales. You will champion the club’s amenities and programs, building lasting relationships with prospective and current members to maximize their Equinox experience.

You will drive memberships, host events for lead generation, and work with a GM and regional sales team to meet monthly targets, including renewals and ancillary services.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Must have an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Confident to perform on incentive-based salary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Energetic, personable disposition.
• Personal passion for health and fitness.
• Enjoy working within a team.
• Strong time management skills.
• MUST be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• MUST be able to work the last 4 days of each month.

Responsibilities

• Selling club memberships and ancillary business packages.
• Prospecting new business and clients.
• Hosting events and workshops for in-club lead generation.
• Achieving or exceeding individual sales goals, renewals and ancillary service goals.
• Conducting pre-planning activities each month including strategic outreach for referrals.
• Building rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members.
• Knowledge of and participation in all the club's services, programs, and products.
