Job summary

CHANEL, Inc. in Honolulu seeks a Specialist, Visual Merchandising to oversee VM standards in-store during hours and events.

You will supervise with the Visual Lead, implement and maintain VM guidelines, including window displays and fixture setup, within the Ala Moana boutique. You will coordinate with Boutique Management, move display elements with the VM Manager, and ensure regular merchandising according to VM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable Art / Fashion related course of study.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position or higher; preferably with a luxury brand.
• A high level of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with clients, employees & management.
• Able to move heavy items - may include overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Front of House Fashion: Full-time in-store presence to support client sales and service.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and oversee VM direction, animations and guidelines to Ambassadors and boutique management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Boutique Management teams to ensure merchandise initiatives are maintained.
• Coordinate movement and storage of display elements with Visual Merchandise Manager.
• Ensure windows and selling floors are merchandised between floor sets, window installations, and launches.
• Take photographs of entire boutique after floor and window sets and update in Dropbox as changes occur.
