Job summary

Jenni Kayne is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving business performance, leading the team, and delivering an elevated client experience. You will coach staff, manage operations, and ensure the luxury brand standards across the store while building lasting client relationships.

You will analyze performance metrics, drive omnichannel engagement, and support inventory and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holder role.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and customer experience.
• Proven ability to coach and support team development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Experience with POS and inventory management systems; Word and Excel preferred.
• Ability to lift and move objects (20+ pounds) and perform physical retail tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance and exceed sales goals.
• Lead floor presence with elevated client experience.
• Manage store health, traffic and conversion.
• Build client base through outreach and follow-up.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence.
• Maintain customer engagement across Jenni Kayne platforms.
• Hire, onboard, and train team members with guidance.
• Coach and support ongoing performance and development.
• Ensure daily operations are accurate and compliant.
• Maintain visual merchandising and brand standards.
