Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a dynamic Sommelier to lead our wine program and elevate guest experiences at our Pasadena location. The role focuses on curating an exceptional wine list, guiding service, and training staff to provide world-class wine experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 Sommelier certification and at least two years of luxury resort or fine dining experience, with strong vendor relations and inventory management skills.

Competenze

• Must hold Level 2 certification from Court of Master Sommeliers or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a sommelier in a luxury resort, fine dining restaurant, or similar setting.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain an exceptional wine list that complements cuisine and guest preferences.
• Source wines from reputable distributors and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
• Conduct regular training sessions for front-of-house staff on wine knowledge and service.
• Engage guests to recommend wines and host tastings, pairing events, and special dinners.
• Manage wine inventory and monitor storage conditions for accuracy and quality.
