Job summary

Aesop is seeking a Retail Consultant in Chicago to deliver our unique, personalized customer experiences and storytelling on the shop floor. You will showcase premium skincare and fragrance, drive conversion, and build regimens for guests.

You should be customer-focused, commercially driven, and ready to engage in ongoing product and campaign training, with flexibility to work three full days incl. one weekend day.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused teams, retail or hospitality preferred.
• Merchant mindset with focus on customer-centric selling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confident product demos.
• Passion for premium skincare and fragrance products.
• Ability to work three full days weekly with at least one weekend day.
• Must be able to work on the sales floor, stairs, and lift 25 lbs.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Drive store KPIs and contribute to monthly commercial plans with the Store Manager.
• Deliver personalized storytelling and curated customer journeys.
• Lead customers to product demonstrations and regimen building.
• Ensure memorable departures and invite repeat visits.
• Adhere to grooming standards and maintain store presentation.
• Participate in product and campaign trainings and apply learnings.
