Aēsop in Chicago is seeking a Retail Consultant to engage customers with authentic storytelling and premium product experiences. You will drive store performance, deliver personalized journeys, and build lasting relationships in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused roles, retail or hospitality preferred.
• Merchant mindset with a bias toward selling premium products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for Aesop's skincare and fragrance lines.
• Availability for 3 full days per week, including at least one weekend day.
• Physical ability to work on sales floor, with stairs and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal performance by contributing to store KPIs and following a SMART monthly plan with the Store Manager.
• Use data and insights to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Deliver a personalized customer journey with storytelling and product demonstrations.
• Guide customers to product stations and perform demonstrations on the hand.
• Foster lasting relationships with customers through attentive service and sample regimens.
• Adhere to grooming standards and complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.
