Mandarin Oriental, Boston is seeking a Revenue and Reservations Manager to lead the strategic revenue and reservations functions from the Reservations Department. You will drive revenue growth, market awareness, and brand differentiation while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role reports to the Director of Commercial Strategy and oversees Reservations staff, rate code governance, and distribution channel optimization. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Revenue, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality preferred.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management concepts, pricing and distribution.

Aufgaben

• Maximize room revenue and occupancy by effectively controlling rates and availability.
• Update distribution channels for proper rate and room availability as directed by the Director of Commercial Strategy.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of rate codes across systems.
• Complete follow through of no-show and cancellation charges.
• Communicate and collaborate daily with Guest Relations and Front of House departments.
• Ensure that Guest History is updated and acted upon accordingly.
• Oversee duties and responsibilities of Reservations colleagues and ensure that work processes are in a logical order.
• Ensure that Legendary Quality Standards and hotel policies and procedures are properly understood and followed through.
• Perform training functions including hiring, performance reviews, coaching, training, disciplinary actions, etc.
• Analyze competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality, mix and displacement.
• Provide data to the team for analysis of business segments, accounts, market segment mix, room type demand, channel production and geographical mix.
• Prepare Commercial Strategy Meeting agenda, supporting documentation, and minutes weekly.
• Prepare month-end critiques and communicate results to Regional/Corporate Revenue Management.
• Use revenue management systems and tools to determine, implement, manage and control revenue strategies.
• Participate in financial audits and maintain financial records per hotel policies.
