Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Boston is seeking an Assistant Restaurant, Bars, & Experiences Manager to lead day-to-day operations within the Restaurants, Bars, & Experiences division, with a focus on In-Room Dining and Banquets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to lead and manage change in a high-volume environment.
• Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise In-Room Dining team and Banquets team, manage schedules and payroll.
• Conduct audits of table arrangements, food quality, and service standards.
• Provide ongoing training and coach team members.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new colleagues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest comments and take corrective action; maintain Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency and increase sales while reducing costs.

Education

College degree in Hospitality Management or a similar field
